Our Story

Since 1993, our focus has been on procuring coffees directly from their source and manually roasting each batch. Through partnerships with farmers and cooperatives, we are engaged in every aspect of delivering an exceptional coffee experience. In addition to our Session Roasted™ coffees, we are pleased to offer Letterbox Fine Tea, craft beers from Colectivo Keg Company, handcrafted food, Troubadour artisan bread, and freshly baked goods.

The concept behind our name stems from the vibrant buses commonly used for public transport in Latin America known as "colectivos" (co-lec-TEE-vo) and the memorable role they play in daily life. Being an independently owned business, we roast our award-winning coffees using vintage Probats in the Riverwest neighborhood of Milwaukee.
